When doing the Stations of The Cross, we spiritually accompany Our Lord on His sorrowful journey to Calvary, meditating at each scene of His passion and death.

Lent is time of preparation for the Feast of Easter. The season begins on Ash Wednesday and ends with the celebration of the Easter Vigil or at midnight on Holy Saturday night. On Ash Wednesday, blessed ashes are placed on the foreheads of the faithful and it stands as a reminder to us that, "Remember, man, you are dust and to dust you will return."

The word Lent means Spring, time of rebirth and renewal. Nature presents to us a clear picture of this transformations and above all, radiates his great Love. For us Christians, we are called to transform ourselves, leave our old habits and be renewed, re blended with Christ.

LET US PRAY ...

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Our hearts were made for You, O Lord, and they are restless until they rest in you.
